Wendy Bentley

Hi, I'm Wendy! I began my yoga journey in 2006 with the goal of building strength and flexibility, then expanded my focus to the study of Iyengar yoga in 2014. Captivated by my first Iyengar yoga class, I believe deeply in the tradition and it's ability to not only build strength, flexibility, health, and vitality, but also to enable personal transformation and growth.

I received teacher training from Certified Iyengar Teacher, Nina Pileggi at the Sunset Yoga Center in Portland, Oregon and enjoy attending annual workshops led by various senior teachers. I continue my mentorship under Iyengar Teacher Robin Popinski, as I pursue certification.

Currently, I am on maternity leave from teaching classes. I remain a student of Iyengar yoga and continue a home practice. I plan to return to teaching classes!
